I took Flora grocery shopping with me last night and she kept asking to buy stuff. Finally I explained chores to her and told her that maybe someday she could do chores and earn money to buy things on her own. She seemed excited and announced that she already knew what she wanted her chore to be -- she wants to be in charge of all the shopping!
She brought the topic back up this morning and listed some other chores that she would be willing to do: feeding our dog (we don't have a dog), making lunches (I would TOTALLY be down with that!!), and buying purses.
