Scout plays with dolls.
That's right.
Scout + Dolls = BFF
With a big sister around the house, it was only a matter of time before he discovered the joys of chewing on a doll's foot. So, what's the big deal? I'm not dressing him in pink or encouraging him to watch princess movies. I just give him a doll occasionally when he's on the floor with nothing to do.
Today, Chris came home to find his son waving a pink doll in the air. He very calmly, but decisively, took care of the situation.
"No," said Chris, "my son does NOT play with dolls." He put the doll back in the toy box and found a toy hammer for Scout to bang repeatedly on the ground.
Because THAT's what men do......

LOL on our way to your house this AM Jack had to decide between a bucket of hotwheels and a doll. They were all in the car but he did choose the cars. He loves to put a doll in a stroller though and push them around.
Aww, this reminds me of Shane and his baby Jane! Little boys who play with dolls turn out to be very good men! (and GI Joe's are just dolls without stuffing)
I'm sure he has many more "man lessons" in store for him.:)
Scout is just a "people person" and he's attracted to the fact that the dolls have faces. Just get him some boy dolls.. Raggedy Andy or something.
