poopy status

Scout announces his poopy status to me every morning. He lets me know what's up in his diaper before he says "Hi" or "Good morning" or even "I'm hungry". It's nice because I know right away what kind of day it will be. If I open his door and he says, "Mommy, I poopy" then I know I need to kick myself into Mommy gear quickly, but if he says, "Mommy, I not poopy" then I know I can take it easy for a while and wake up slowly. I wish more people were like that. Life would be simpler if we all just announced right away whether we are feeling "poopy" or "not poopy".
